How Ogboni leader met death while searching for abducted wives

The Oluaye Oba Ogboni Agbaye, Oba Adetoyese Olakisan on Monday, met with death when his car rammed into a tree when searching for his abducted wives.

Olakisan wives were kidnapped in Imesi-Ile by yet to be identified gunmen.

According to sources, Olakisan was the target of the kidnappers but escaped. 

Olakisan alongside a policeman and a woman went after the kidnappers to Ila and on their way coming back to Imesi-Ile had an accident and the three occupants died. 

Confirming the incident, Osun Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola said victims were rushed to the hospital where they all died. 

She said: "The Ogboni leader and the police were inside his car with one other woman coming back to Oke Imesi after their search and had a lone accident. The car was rammed into a tree.

"They were all rushed to the hospital but eventually they all died. The police are inside the bush continuing the search and rescue mission. The DPO I talked to was also inside the bush.
