To the glory of God, I stand before the church to appreciate the Creator for blessing our world with a clergy in the mould of Pastor John Demade.

Today could have passed without having any significant thing, setting it apart from the rest. But it is a remarkable day in the anal of history of this church and many individuals worshipping here, as well as others, living far and near the location of our church.

This Ode-Omu born man of God has proven to us all, how powerful the God he serves is and I believe this servant of the Most High is going places. The world will still acknowledge more, and celebrate him in bigger form, amen.

Let me share before you people of God some of the miracles the Most High has performed through our Pastor in my immediate family.

Firstly, when my wife was in labour, expecting my our first baby, she was in the hospital for over 24 hours, writhing in pains and yet the baby refused to come out. It was clear satan was up to something.

Lo and behold! our pastor, the spiritual commando, appeared at the hospital, and forced his way into the theatre. We had the baby without having to resort to medical procedure.

This scenerio repeated itself when we were to have our second child. God of CAC also showed up and we had the baby after the spiritual intervention by our spiritual commando, a general in Christ, Pastor John.

I also recall how our father in Christ rallied the congregation into intercessory groups when I was indisposed and God heard the cries. I was saved from untimely death.

I know we all have one or two things to say about this man of God, who has made serving in the vineyard looks so easy. He has proven to be a shepherd, that would even be ready to shed his blood to protect his flock.

Our amiable, unassuming, good-spirited and power-packed tomentor of kingdom of darkness is going to leave us for another place of assignment. But his deeds within and outside this congregation, will continue to be referenced in several years to come.

He has become standard of good stewardship and we will continue to miss him. We urge you sir, not forget us. Continue to pray for us and we will continue to pray for you.

If we have our way, then we would have stopped this transfer. But we submit to the dictates of God that owns you. May God continue to guide, guard and protect you everywhere you go, amen. It is well with you, your family and us in Jesus name, amen. Praise the Lord, halleluyah!

Sing this song: It is well, it is well, with my soul, with my soul. It is well, it is well with my soul.
