Court Remands Women Over alleged Murder Attempt On Oyetola

 

Two female Suspects, Suliyat Tajudeen(20) and Ayomide Abdulazeez (20) have been or be remanded in Ilesha Correctional Centre over alleged attempt to murder Osun State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola during #EndSARS protest in the state. 

The two were arraigned on a six-count cbordering on attempted murder, malicious damage, burglary and stealing.

However, the two pleaded not guilty to the offence preferred against them.

The counsel for the two, Nurudeen Kareem applied for their bail in the most liberal term.

The prosecutor , John Idoko opposed the bail application made by the Counsel on the ground that they will jump bail, if granted considering the overwhelming evidence the police have against them.

The Chief Magistrate, Dr Olusegun Ajilara ordered them to be remanded at Ilesa correctional centre.

He adjourned the case to 20 November 2020 for the hearing of bail application.
