Man sentenced for removing another's teeth with punch

 The magistrate court sitting in Osogbo,on Tuesday has sentenced one,Jimoh Taofeek to six month imprisonment with hard labour for assaulting one,Olusegun Ezekiel and  removing his teeth  with punch.

  The accuse person,Jimoh Taofeek (35)was said to have been arraigned with two others Serifat David(25)and Salawu Fatai(45)  on three-count bothering on alleged assault and stealing of N150,000 on August 28,2018.
However, the first and the third accuse persons were later discharged .

 The magistrate,Modupe Awodele while delivering his judgement  said the accused was guilty and convicted on the count 2 charge for removing ones teeth with blow which was contrary and punishable under section 355 of the criminal code cap 34 voll 11 laws of osun state of Nigeria 2003.
   The defence counsel of the accused,T.B Awodele who pleaded to the court to tender justice with mercy said the accuse has learnt his lessons.
 Magistrate Modupe however sentenced him to 6 month imprisonment with hard labour.
