Olori Naomi surprises Ooni on his birthday

Wife of the Ooni of Ife, Olori Naomi Silekunola Ogunwusi on Thursday surprised her husband , the Ooni of Ife Ooni ,Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II on his birthday.

The queen was said to have  organized a special gathering which had in attendance First Class kings in Yoruba land among others dignitaries to mark her husband's  45th birthday

Some of  the kings in attendance are: Osemawe of Ondo, Oba Victor Kiladejo, Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi,  Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade,  Olore of Ore, Oba Johnson Adeolu and other top Yoruba kings.

Also,  Osun State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Ige and her Ogun State counterpart, CP Basir Makama,  the wife of the immediate past Governor of Ogun State, Mrs. Funsho Amosun among others were at the Ile Oodua palace of the Ooni to attend the special birthday gathering organized by  the queen.

Speaking,  the celebrant, the Arole Oduwa appreciated his wife and those who graced the surprised gathering.

He promised to always use the occasion of his birthday to empower the downtrodden in the society.

He said , “I must sincerely thank you all for this surprise gathering despite your tight schedule. As you have honoured me, may the Almighty Olodumare honour you all.

“Specially, I appreciate my beautiful queen for this wonderful surprise. Like other days of my life, I have been using the occasion of my birthday to remember and empower the poor and other vulnerable members of the society.” .
